Regular business hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The Court address is Room 306, 100 S. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton, Ga. Our office will be glad to perform weddings at the courthouse, between regular business hours free of charge.  Please call to confirm that a judge will be available, and have your marriage license with you. Weddings after hours can be scheduled, there may be a $150.00 charge for an after hour service.

Bond hearings are held at the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, located at 101 Ridley Dr., Eatonton, Ga.  Monday at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. and Friday at 10:00 A.M. Bail may be set if the setting of bail is not reserved to a judge of another court.  Special conditions may also be set, depending on charges at the discretion of the judge.

Bad check warrants are processed after the proper steps have been made to collect.  There is a $10.00 warrant fee, a $30.00 returned check charge will be collected.  Returned checks less than $500.00 are prosecuted in State Court as a misdemeanor charge, returned checks drawn on out of state banks or for over $500.00 are prosecuted in Superior Court as felony charges.
